SELECTED PRIMARY SCHOOLS HANDED SCIENCE KITS

The Office of the President (represented by Mr. Collins Dramani , Assistant Resident District Commissioner) by , the Office of the LCV Chairperson (represented by Hon. Bosco Asea, Vice Chairperson), and the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (represented by Mr. Atrici Cornelius, Principal Assistant Secretary—PAS) jointly handed over Science Kits (mini laboratory equipment) to selected primary schools in Maracha District.

 

The equipment, supplied by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is aimed at strengthening practical science learning at primary level.

 

A total of 20 primary schools benefited from the initiative. Selection was based on performance, with 15 best-performing schools and 5 least-performing schools included to support improved science education outcomes and promote practical learning across the district.

 

During the handover, Mr. Dramani emphasized accountability and ownership, urging headteachers to ensure proper use, maintenance, and security of the equipment to prevent vandalism, theft, and misuse.

 

Mr. Dramani commended the Ministry of Education and Sports for this timely intervention, which will contribute significantly to improving the quality of science education in Maracha District.
